The Ukrainian U-20 basketball teambeat the Netherlands in the semi-finals of the EuroBasket 2024 Youth in Division B.
The match ended with a score of 58:70 (20:14, 13:20, 11:17, 14:19) in favor of the “blue-yellows”.
The most productive member of our team was Nazar Kholod, who scored 17 points and made six rebounds. Kirill Skutelnik earned 16 points.
By reaching the finals of the EuroBasket Youth, the Ukrainians guaranteed themselves a promotion – after two years of absence, the “blue-yellows” returned to the elite Division A, where they will play next summer.
In the final match of the Youth EuroBasket 2024 in Division B, the opponent of Valery Plekhanov’s team will be Romania, which beat Finland (77:72) in the other semi-final. The decisive match of the tournament will take place on Sunday, July 21.
