“Left Bank” and “Minaj” will fight in the final for a ticket to the elite division.
“Minaj” became the second finalist of the “Tournament of Four” for the right to participate in the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) for the 2024/25 season. In the semi-finals, the Transcarpathian club beat Epicenter.
The regular time of the match ended with a score of 3:3, and in the penalty shootout the Minay players were more accurate – 5:3.
The teams exchanged goals in the first half. In the 12th minute, Epicenter put Nikolai Mironyuk ahead, to which Minay responded seven minutes later with a goal by Vladislav Vakula.
After the break, the Transcarpathians took the lead – in the 57th minute, Dmytro Prykhna scored.
However, Serhiy Nagornyak’s charges soon equalized the score – in the 66th minute, Ivan Bendera scored, and then broke ahead – in the 77th minute, Danylo Kravchuk made an accurate strike.
In the 85th minute, Epicenter was left in the minority – Nikolai Mironyuk earned a direct red card.
Zeljko Ljubenovic's charges took advantage of the numerical advantage and got even – Artur Remenyak scored in the 87th minute.
Since the winner was not determined in the regular time of the game, then, according to the regulations, a series of post-match penalties was held. There, Minaj triumphed, scoring all five shots, while the opponent realized three out of four.

In the final of the “Tournament of Four” for a place in the elite division, Minaj will play against “Left Bank”, which in the first semi-final beat “Metalist 1925” in a penalty shootout.
The final match for the right to play in the UPL between “Left Bank” and “Minaj” will take place on Tuesday, July 30.
Recall that the winner of this mini-tournament will replace “Dnipro-1” in the elite division, which was excluded from the UPL participants due to financial problems.
