Forward of Madrid “Atletico” Antoine Griezmann has announced the end of his career in the French national team.
The 33-year-old footballer published a farewell post on Instagram.
“With a heart full of memories, I close this chapter of my life. Thank you for this wonderful adventure and until next time,” Griezmann captioned the video.

Griezmann played for the French national team from 2014 to 2024. He has 137 matches under the Les Blés jersey, 44 goals and 38 assists.
As part of the French national team, Antoine won the 2018 World Cup and the 2020/21 Nations League, and was also a silver medalist winner of the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2016.
Griezmann shares third place in the number of matches for the French national team with Olivier Giroud, and in terms of goals he is fourth after Giroud, Thierry Henry and Kylian Mbappe.
