Dynamo Kyiv lost to German "Magdeburg" in the first friendly match at the winter training camp in Turkey. The match ended with a score of 1:3.
The only goal for the “white-blues” was scored by Vitaly Buyalsky in the 87th minute. Before that, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team had conceded three times from their opponents.
It should be noted that during the match the Kyivians failed to convert penalties twice. In the 28th minute, Nikolai Shaparenko failed to beat the goalkeeper, and in the 71st minute, Buyalsky also failed to do so.

It should be noted that Dynamo will play its next friendly match on Sunday, January 12, against the Romanian club FCSB.
The Kyivans went into the winter break as the leaders of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The White-Blues (43 points) are 5 points ahead of Oleksandria and 10 points ahead of Shakhtar, which has a match in reserve.
In the first match of the “spring” part of the UPL, the Kyivans will host Karpaty. The base date of the matches of the 18th round of the elite division of the Ukrainian championship is February 22.
Before the resumption of the UPL, Dynamo will have the final matches of the main round of the Europa League: on January 21, the “white-blues” will play with Turkish Galatasaray, and on January 30, they will face Latvian RFS. These matches will no longer have tournament significance for the Kiev team, because they prematurely lost their chances to reach the playoffs after six defeats in a row.
After six rounds, the Kiev club occupies the last, 36th place in the overall standings of the main round of the Europa League. Dynamo remains the only participant in the tournament that has not yet scored a single point.
