Only two players on the Ukrainian's team scored more points than him: Keyontae George (23 points) and Isaiah Collier (20).
For Mykhailiuk, this is the most productive game in the NBA since April 2024, when he managed to score 26 points in 37 minutes of a match against the Washington Wizards while still on the Boston Celtics.
Despite all of Svyatoslav's efforts, the match ended in defeat for the Utah Jazz in overtime – 119:123.
Match Review
Recall that Mykhailiuk joined the Utah Jazz in the summer of 2024. His previous club was the Boston Celtics, with whom Svyatoslav became the NBA champion for the first time in his career last season.
Mykhailiuk became only the second Ukrainian in history to win the NBA championship title. Previously, only Stanislav Medvedenko, who became a champion twice (2001, 2002) as part of the Los Angeles Lakers, had managed to do so.
