Oleksandr Zubkov will continue his career in the Turkish championship.
Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine national team midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov has become a player of Trabzonspor.
The Turkish club announced the signing of the 28-year-old Ukrainian footballer on its official website.
The terms and conditions of the contract were not disclosed. Earlier, the media reported that Zubkov's transfer would cost 6.5 million euros.
Zubkov is a product of Shakhtar's academy, where he played since 2011 and became a finalist in the UEFA Youth League (2015). On September 23, 2015, he made his debut for the Miners' main team.
In total, he played 107 matches for the Orange-Blacks, scored 20 goals and made 22 assists. Together with the club, he won 9 trophies: 4 Ukrainian Championship titles, 4 Ukrainian Cups and 1 Ukrainian Super Cup.
