The best result among Ukrainians was shown by Dmytro Pidruchny.
On Thursday, March 6, the seventh stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, started with the men's sprint race.
Ukraine was represented by four biathletes: Anton Dudchenko , Dmytro Pidruchny , Vitaliy Mandzyn and Artem Tishchenko .
The best result among Ukrainians in the sprint was shown by Pidruchnyi (35th place). Mandzyn, who took 38th place, also made it into the qualifying zone. In addition to them, Dudchenko (57th place) qualified for the pursuit. But Tishchenko was outside the top 60 and will not take part in the pursuit race.
The winner of the sprint was Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin. Italian Tommaso Giacomel finished second, and Norwegian Johannes Bjo rounded out the top three.

The Nove Mesto stage will continue on Friday, March 7, with the women's sprint race, which will start at 19:20 Kyiv time.
Pursuit races are scheduled in Nove Mesto on Saturday, March 8, and the stage will end on Sunday, March 9, with classic relays.
