England manager Thomas Tuchel has explained why he called up Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, who is on loan at Aston Villa.
“Marcus has had a huge impact at Aston Villa… His energy is impressive, he is very good in counter-pressing and in defence, and I had a strong feeling that we had to bring him in to push him to stay at this level and not fall back into old habits,” journalist Miguel Delaney quotes Tuchel as saying in X.
Let us recall that Rashford played 60 matches in all tournaments for the England national team, scoring 17 goals.
