On March 22, the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia will host a boxing evening from Matchroom Boxing and DiBella Entertainment.
Former world lightweight champion George Kambosos (21–3, 10 KOs), who was knocked out by Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko in his last fight, will enter the ring.
The Australian was originally scheduled to fight Indonesian Daud Yordan (43-4, 31 KOs), but he suffered health problems and was forced to pull out of the fight a week before the show.
Kambosos' opponent will be his compatriot Jake Willie (16-1, 15 KOs), who won the Australian champion title in 2023. The fight will be held in the light welterweight limit (up to 63.5 kg) in a 12-round format.
