The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has selected the next opponent for British boxer Daniel Dubois.
The IBF wants to sanction a fight between Daniel and heavyweight veteran Dereck Chisora. The president of the organization said that the fight should take place before June 21. However, Dubois could get a reprieve from the mandatory fight with Chisora if a fight with Oleksandr Usyk for the title of absolute world champion is organized. In this case, this fight would be a priority.
Dubois last fought in September 2024, knocking out Joshua. Chisora won a unanimous decision over Wallin in February.
Earlier, Alexander Usyk's promoter Alexander Krasyuk reported that negotiations were underway regarding a rematch between the Ukrainian and Daniel Dubois.
