Ukrainian goalkeeper of Real Madrid Andriy Lunin was included in the team's roster for the home match of the 30th round of the Spanish Primera against Valencia .

Earlier it was reported that Lunin suffered a ruptured soleus muscle in the Spanish Cup match against Real Sociedad (4:4). Spanish media reported that the Ukrainian risks being out for four weeks due to the injury. At the same time, Andriy still has a chance to play in the upcoming match against Valencia with a painkiller injection.

It should be noted that the Blancos' main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is missing from the squad for the game with Valencia. The Belgian is still out of action due to muscle strain, but is expected to return to the field on April 8 in the first quarter-final match of the Champions League against Arsenal.

Andrey Lunin's match against Real Sociedad was the 12th for the Madrid team this season in all tournaments (four clean sheets, 19 goals conceded). It was reported that the Madrid coaching staff was unhappy with Lunin's performance in the semi-final, and in the final game of the Spanish Cup with Barcelona they are leaning towards the option with Courtois.

The Real Madrid vs. Valencia match will take place tomorrow, April 5. The game at Santiago Bernabeu will kick off at 17:15 Kyiv time.
