Ukraine’s men’s national volleyball team secured their third victory in their debut season of the Nations League. This time, their opponent was Turkey’s national team. The match ended with a convincing 3:0 win for the “blue-and-yellows,” reports Baltimore Chronicle.
The Ukrainian team dominated the first set, leaving no chance for their rivals — 25:11. The second set proved to be more competitive: both sides exchanged points until the end, but with the score at 23:22, Ukraine managed to win three consecutive points, sealing the set 25:22.
In the third set, Turkey started stronger and took the lead, but the Ukrainians gradually leveled the game, took control, and finished the set with a 25:21 victory.
The match took place on June 26 as part of the sixth round of the 2025 Nations League group stage.
Ukraine has already claimed three victories in the tournament: they defeated the United States in the opening match, followed by a thrilling win over Cuba. However, they later suffered defeats against Brazil, Iran, and France.
