On October 25, London’s famous O2 Arena will host a major professional boxing event organized by Frank Warren’s promotional company, Queensberry Promotions. The main event of the evening will feature former world champion Joseph Parker (39–3, 24 KOs) facing undefeated British fighter Fabio Wardley (19–0–1, 18 KOs), reports Baltimore Chronicle.
The super heavyweight clash carries high stakes, with two interim world championship belts — WBO and WBA — on the line. The winner will not only secure these titles but also become the mandatory challenger for a fight against Oleksandr Usyk. According to regulations, Usyk will be obliged to accept the fight with the new interim champion or forfeit his WBO title, leaving it vacant.
For Parker, this bout represents another opportunity to cement his status among the top heavyweights, having delivered an impressive first-round knockout against Martin Bakole in February. Wardley, meanwhile, continued his streak of early stoppage victories in June by defeating Justis Huni. Both fighters are in peak condition, promising a thrilling showdown for boxing fans.
The boxing event will start at 09:00 Washington time on October 25, with the main fight between Parker and Wardley expected around 00:30 on October 26. The event will be broadcast live on the streaming service DAZN.
