Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner defeated Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final match of the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament in Saudi Arabia, reports Baltimore Chronicle. The event took place from October 15 to 18 in Riyadh on hard courts, and the match ended with a score of 6-2, 6-4 in favor of Sinner, who has set a record in tennis prize money for the second consecutive year.
The final lasted 61 minutes. Sinner served three aces, made no double faults, achieved three breaks, and did not allow Alcaraz to earn a single break point, while the Spanish player had a double fault count of 3/4. For his victory, Sinner received $6 million in prize money — a record amount in tennis — and was awarded a golden racket as a gift from the organizers.
Before the final, a match for third place was held between Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz. The American won the first set, which lasted 75 minutes and concluded with a tiebreak, after which Djokovic withdrew from the match, leaving third place to Fritz.
