British boxer Fabio Wardley has called out Oleksandr Usyk, saying he is ready to face the Ukrainian world champion “even in his own backyard” following his impressive victory over Joseph Parker. In a thrilling fight held on October 25 at London’s O2 Arena, Wardley showcased extraordinary toughness, absorbing several heavy punches from Parker before claiming the biggest win of his 21-fight professional career, reports Baltimore Chronicle.

After the match, Wardley said he intends to “keep riding the wave” and is eager to face the undisputed heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, anywhere in the world. When asked whether Wembley Stadium was his dream venue for the fight, the Briton replied that location is not important to him. He expressed interest in possibly fighting overseas — in America, for instance — where he has not yet competed. “Maybe America? If not, it could be in my backyard, I wouldn’t care,” Wardley added.

The victory over Parker marked a major milestone in Wardley’s career as he continues his rise through the heavyweight ranks. His bold challenge to Usyk demonstrates not only his growing confidence but also his determination to test himself against the world’s elite.
