The main stage of the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League began on October 2, 2025, and will run until December 18. A total of 36 clubs from across Europe are participating. Each team will play six matches against different opponents — three at home and three away, reports Baltimore Chronicle.
The tournament format involves a cumulative table created after all six rounds are completed. The eight best-performing teams will advance directly to the Round of 16. Clubs ranked from 9th to 24th will compete in playoff matches for a place in the Round of 16, while the remaining teams will end their European campaign for this season.
After three rounds, Ukrainian clubs show differing results. Shakhtar Donetsk has accumulated six points and currently holds 10th place in the overall standings. Dynamo Kyiv has three points and occupies the 24th position.
The schedule for the main stage includes six rounds: the first was on October 2, the second on October 23, and the third on November 6. The remaining matches are scheduled for November 27, December 11, and December 18, 2025. After the sixth round, the final ranking of teams advancing to the next stage will be determined.
From the Round of 16 onward, the Conference League will continue with two-legged ties. The season’s final will be held on May 27, 2026, at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany.
