Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 reveals S26 series, Ultra model, Galaxy Buds 4, AI features, and pricing details ahead of global launch on February 25.

Samsung is set to host its first major technology showcase of 2026 with the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (20:00 Kyiv time), offering a live stream via its official website and YouTube channel, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to the original source. The presentation will reveal Samsung’s latest smartphone lineup, including the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and the high-end Galaxy S26 Ultra, alongside new Galaxy Buds 4 earbuds and the company’s enhanced Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to showcase noticeable design updates. The Ultra model will adopt more rounded corners, aligning its appearance with the smaller S26 and S26 Plus. The base Galaxy S26 may feature a slightly larger 6.3-inch display, while the S26 Plus and S26 models will be thinner. The Ultra will also introduce an advanced screen supporting 10-bit color depth and a privacy mode that automatically obscures sensitive content from onlookers.

Under the hood, the smartphones will be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 processors, depending on regional availability. While performance benchmarks indicate strong processing capabilities, early assessments suggest the devices may experience thermal throttling under sustained loads, according to PhoneArena.

Battery efficiency has been a focal point of the leaks. Despite improvements allowing up to 51–55 hours of use per charge, the battery longevity may disappoint. Reports indicate that batteries are rated for 1,200 full charge cycles before losing 20% of capacity, compared with 2,000 cycles for last year’s models. Expected capacities are 4,300 mAh for the S26, 4,900 mAh for the S26 Plus, and 5,000 mAh for the S26 Ultra, as noted by ZDNET.

Samsung will also introduce the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, featuring a refreshed design with metallic accents on the stems, distinguishing them from competing models. The Pro version will include silicone ear tips for enhanced noise isolation.

A major portion of the event will highlight Galaxy AI functions, including new photography and image-generation capabilities developed in collaboration with Nota AI. All new devices will retain IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing submersion in fresh water up to three meters for 30 minutes.

Pricing in Europe may reflect notable increases. The Galaxy S26 is expected to start at €999 for the 256GB version, approximately €100 more than its predecessor. The S26 Plus may be priced between €1,249–1,269, while the S26 Ultra’s base model will maintain last year’s price range (€1,449–1,469), but higher-capacity versions (512GB and 1TB) could increase by €80–140. Pre-order incentives, such as complimentary memory upgrades, will remain available.

No flexible smartphones or new smartwatches are expected at this Unpacked event, as these devices are typically reserved for summer announcements. Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Edge model has reportedly been canceled or postponed.
