Baltimore Ravens kickoff week is bringing football events across Maryland before the 2026 season opener against Indianapolis. The schedule includes Baltimore appearances, Purple Friday in Salisbury and a sold-out stadium watch party, as reported by Baltimore Chronicle. The Baltimore Ravens confirmed the Week 1 program on September 8.

Ravens kickoff events begin in Baltimore

The first major event comes on September 9. Ravens staff will paint large team logos at Federal Hill Park and Baltimore City Hall.

The Federal Hill appearance begins around 9:30 a.m. It gives fans an early public sign that the NFL season has returned to Baltimore.

On September 10, M&T Bank Stadium will host Pages & Purple. The event combines Ravens fandom with books and features author B.K. Borison.

Fans can receive an early copy of Grim Tidings and meet Borison at the stadium.

Purple Friday heads to Salisbury

The Ravens will take their traditional Purple Friday celebration to Wicomico County on September 11.

Several familiar parts of the organization are scheduled to appear:

  • Ravens Cheerleaders;
  • the Marching Ravens;
  • mascot Poe;
  • fan giveaways and photo opportunities.

The event precedes the Stephen Decatur versus Wicomico high school football game at Wicomico County Stadium. Ravens entertainment activities begin at 3 p.m. The high school game starts at 4 p.m.

The Eastern Shore stop expands kickoff week beyond Baltimore. It also connects the professional team with local high school football communities.

Baltimore fans who remain home will have another option. A Ravens kickoff watch party will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium’s North Plaza.

The event includes large screens, Ravens entertainment groups and a performance by Soulja Boy. Tickets are already sold out.

Chick-fil-A joins Ravens season launch

The team has also partnered with Chick-fil-A Baltimore for a promotion running through September 12.

Participating Baltimore-area restaurants are offering eligible app users a promotional chicken sandwich during Week 1. The offer runs from September 7 through September 12.

Together, the events turn the days before Ravens vs Colts into a statewide season launch rather than a single game-day celebration.
