The Ukrainian national ice hockey team defeated the Spanish team in the fourth round matchWorld Championship 2024in Division IB with a score of 6:1.
The first period of the meeting turned out to be goalless. In the second 20 minutes, the Ukrainians conceded – Spaniard Gaston Gonzalez scored. Moreover, this is the first goal conceded by the “blue-yellows” at the current world championship.
Before the break, Dmitry Khristich’s team managed to come back – Daniil Trakht scored a scoring shot. So before the final period the score was tied – 1:1.
However, in the final period of the match, the Ukrainians crushed their opponents, scoring five goals. Stanislav Sadovikov scored a double, Trakht made an accurate shot for the second time, Gleb Krivoshapkin and Viktor Zakharov scored once each.
