Honda has turned the CR-V hybrid crossover into a motorhome in the spirit of Japanese capsule hotels. The unusual project was prepared by the European division of the brand in honor of the 30th anniversary of the CR-V model range.
RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the company’s press service.
It is noted that the sixth generation of the car was converted into a camper called Dream Pod, in which two motorists can spend the night. The main element of the house on wheels was the retractable module Egoe Nestboard 650, which was installed in the trunk of the crossover.
Inside, they integrated a kitchen stove, a small sink with compartments for storing dishes, and a folding sofa that, when unfolded, can accommodate two people.
In addition, the interior of the crossover is supplemented with pull-out tables, LED reading lights, USB ports, and darkening curtains on the windows. On the outside, the mobile home can be equipped with a system for attaching bicycles.
