Video Rivne Regional Children's Hospital received from the UN Population Fund in Ukraine – UNFPA Ukraine is a transport incubator with a ventilator for assisting newborns, its cost is about 1.5 million UAH.
As Ukrinform reports, Chairman of the Rivne Regional Council Andriy Karaush announced this in a Telegram.
«Very significant and important medical assistance from the UN Population Fund in Ukraine – UNFPA Ukraine received our regional children's hospital. This is a transport incubator with an artificial lung ventilation device to assist newborns,” he noted.
The incubator is already used in the neonatal center of the institution. Thanks to it, it is possible to provide emergency medical care to newborns with respiratory disorders, premature babies, and it is possible to safely transport such children both to hospitals and beyond.
The hospital already had similar equipment, but this is – new and currently the most modern establishment with an establishment. Its cost – approximately 1.5 million UAH.
As Ukrinform reported, the Rivne Central City Hospital signed an agreement with the National Health Service for the package “Treatment of adults and children by organ transplantation”, such an intervention will be performed on one organ for now – ; heart.
