The State Service for Medicines and Drug Control reports this on Facebook, reports Ukrinform.
“On April 4, 2024, the first MAP from the Communal Enterprise “Medicines of Chernihiv region” began to work. Chernigov regional council. MAP will run throughout the Chernihiv region on five routes, covering 14 villages where there are no pharmacies. On the same day, in the Kharkov region, another MAP from the “Pharmacy of the Kharkov region” entered the route, the routes of which included 107 settlements in the region. Also this week, MAP, which belongs to PJSC Pharmacy Chain, began work in the Odessa region. MAP will operate on three routes and will serve residents of 11 rural settlements of Odessa region,” the message says.
In total, according to the State Licensing Service, there are currently seven mobile pharmacy points operating: in the Kharkov, Nikolaev, Odessa, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
< It is noted that this format of pharmacy points significantly improves the population’s access to quality medicines funds in rural areas, including in front-line regions.
Mobile pharmacies dispense both over-the-counter and prescription drugs, the range of which is determined by the licensee, as well as drugs subject to reimbursement under the “Affordable Medicines” program. .
All prescription drugs are dispensed exclusively with a paper or electronic prescription.
As Ukrinform reported, the first mobile pharmacy opened in January 2024 in the Kharkiv region. The Ministry of Health announced plans to expand the mobile pharmacy project to all regions.
