«We need such rehabilitation centers. Today, our military receive injuries from which it is extremely difficult to recover. These include contusions, loss of limbs, and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. All these services will be provided here in a comprehensive manner – from the renewal of cognitive skills to the work of psychologists and administrative services,” noted Artem Lysogor, head of the OBA, at the opening ceremony.
According to him, rehabilitation is a priority in the healthcare sector of the Lugansk region. Today, the high-quality provision of these very services is necessary for both military personnel and internally displaced persons.
The establishment has a workplace for the administrator of the Lisichansk Central NAP, which today provides 17 types of services. In particular, the operation of the “I” service has been configured. veteran”, designed for comprehensive information support, advice on the restoration of lost documents, etc.
Military personnel and members of their families can use the services of the Center. The provision of these services on the basis of the rehabilitation center greatly simplifies access to them.
The institution has modern interactive equipment, including restoration of cognitive functions, rehabilitation systems for training the upper and lower extremities, as well as back muscles, and an innovative robotic exoskeleton .
Equipment cost – about 25 million hryvnia.
An inpatient department with 20 beds has been equipped.
«The first task – help people, second – preserve medical personnel and our health care institutions. It is they who will return to the Lugansk region after the de-occupation of settlements and provide assistance to our people. Our doctors, like all Luhansk residents, are looking forward to returning home and are ready to work in their native land,” the head of the Luhansk region emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, in the Vinnytsia region, until the end of the year, outpatient rehabilitation assistance will be provided to defenders with disabilities 18 medical institutions.
