In 2024, rehabilitation departments with psychological health centers will be opened on the basis of cluster hospitals in each district of the Lviv region.
The head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maxim Kozitsky, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“In the Lviv region there are several powerful rehabilitation centers for our soldiers and civilians who suffered due to the war. But the demand continues to grow, therefore, in order to continue to provide assistance systematically, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine instructed us to create rehabilitation departments this year on the basis of cluster hospitals in each district of the Lviv region,” Kozitsky wrote.

He noted that such departments are already functioning in Lvov, Stryi, Drohobych and Novoyavorovsk. In Sambir, repairs have been completed, we are awaiting the supply of equipment from the Ministry of Health. In Busk and In Krasnograd, renovations continue.
«On the basis of each of these departments we also plan to equip a Mental Health Center, because without psychological and physical rehabilitation will be incomplete. The plan is minimum – outpatient care, but we are going to ensure that in each of them psychological and psychiatric care is provided on an inpatient basis, on an outpatient basis, as well as on-site multidisciplinary teams,” added the head of the OVA.
As Ukrinform reported, in March the Sokal hospital in the Lviv region began to operate a new rehabilitation department in which both military personnel and patients after a stroke and with various injuries and diseases will be able to recover.
