Kherson region received a mobile gynecological clinic from UNFPA

Photo was transferred to the Kherson region mobile gynecological clinic, it was purchased by the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine with financial support from the governments of Sweden and Norway.

As reported by Ukrinform, this is reported by the Kherson OVA. 

“The security situation on the right bank remains difficult. And people often need emergency help. Mobile teams of doctors working in the most remote areas of the region come to the rescue. Our partners understand the importance of this support, so they donated a “mobile gynecological clinic” car for the needs of the communities,” the message says. As noted, the car is equipped as a gynecological office, it has everything necessary for conducting examinations of women using ultrasound diagnostics and childbirth.

Mobile clinic doctors will be able to provide free consultations to residents of the most remote areas of the region and will conduct testing for HIV and sexually transmitted infections.

It is emphasized that the car is ready for use and will enter service in the near future.

The OVA informs me that with the assistance of the Ministry of Health, I helped purchase a mobile clinic The UN Population Fund in Ukraine with financial support from the governments of Sweden and Norway.

The OVA notes that representatives of the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine – UNFPA Ukraine visited one of the medical institutions. We examined the maternity and postpartum departments, the operating room, which are located in shelters and talked with women in labor.

Kherson MBA also informs that UNFPA representatives visited the premises that the Kherson Military Administration plans to renovate, and donors intend to help with equipment.

As Ukrinform reported, projects for the repair and construction of six medical institutions were presented in the deoccupied Kherson region, and the construction of shelters is also planned during the work.
