Medical institutions will receive more than 200 more generators to operate in case of blackouts

Photo 242 generators will be delivered to Ukrainian healthcare institutions for uninterrupted operation in the event of blackouts.

The Ministry of Health reported this, Ukrinform reports.

“Ukrainian hospitals, outpatient clinics and primary health care centers will receive another 242 generators for uninterrupted operation during possible power outages. This equipment was purchased through the joint project of the Ministry of Health and the World Bank “Emergency response to COVID-19 and vaccination in Ukraine.” The supply of equipment is provided by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF),” the message says.

Generators were distributed to Kharkiv, Kirovograd, Khmelnitsky, Nikolaev, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, Lugansk, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Ternopil regions and the city of Kiev.
