Despite the accompanying fracture and complication, the wounded man’s leg was saved.
“This is the first time medical personnel have encountered the corresponding type of ammunition, so its name remains unknown to us, but no less impressive,” – noted in Medsilah.
Doctors are preparing the defender for medical evacuation.
As Ukrinform reported, Lviv surgeons removed the volunteer’s tumor and saved his leg from amputation.
