Uber donated $1 million to Ukraine for emergency medical vehicles.
The Ministry of Health reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Incredible news from United24: Uber donated $1,000,000 to Ukraine for ambulances! In total, Uber, as well as the company’s drivers and customers from around the world, have already donated more than $4 million for ambulances,” the statement says.
As the ministry noted, according to United24, thanks to the partnership 49 ambulances have already been purchased and delivered to Ukraine with Uber.
As Ukrinform reported, since the start of the United24 charity platform, almost 1.8 billion UAH have been collected for medical needs, with these funds purchased 205 ambulances and more 100 thousand units of medical equipment and medical products.
