Europe is on the verge of an hour, if the talk about the 5th article of NATO will be dominated not by the United States, but by European capitals.
RBC-Ukraine reports about this with a message to the statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the eve of the Munich conference on food safety.
“Perhaps Europe is at the edge of the hour, if the supply of Statute 5 of NATO will not be supplied to Washington, but will be supplied to European capitals,” the president said.
It is important to note that Article 5 of the NATO Treaty states that an attack on one member of the Alliance is an attack on all members and affects all member powers. The decision to consolidate the 5th article of NATO is praised after consultations between the bloc's members.
Trump's scandalous statement
Previously, the controversial US President Donald Trump threatened that in case of his re-enlistment we will not protect NATO allies, as “not to pay for the ahunks.”
He also added that Russia would like to attack such powers.
