Annapolis Pride Parade 2026 returns to downtown Annapolis on Saturday, October 3. The parade starts at 11 a.m., followed by an afternoon festival at Bates Athletic Complex. Drivers should expect street closures, parking restrictions and temporary traffic delays, as Baltimore Chronicle reports.
Annapolis Pride Parade 2026 route through downtown
The sixth annual parade begins at Calvert and Bladen streets near St. John’s College. Participants will line up along St. John’s Street before the procession starts.
The route follows Calvert Street, Northwest Street and Church Circle. It then continues along West Street and ends at Amos Garrett Boulevard. The City of Annapolis confirmed the route in its September 28 traffic advisory.
Visitors should expect rolling closures while the parade moves through downtown. Police officers will control traffic at affected intersections.
Key times for Saturday include:
- 3 a.m. — several streets close near the parade staging area.
- 11 a.m. — the Annapolis Pride Parade begins.
- Noon — the festival opens at Bates Athletic Complex.
- About 6 p.m. — the festival is scheduled to end.
The schedule allows visitors to attend both the parade and the main festival without leaving the city center early.
Road closures and parking restrictions
St. John’s Street and Bloomsbury Square Street will close from 3 a.m. until 1 p.m. Part of Calvert Street between Bladen Avenue and St. John’s Street will also close. On-street parking will not be permitted in those sections.

Parking at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium costs $20 in advance and $30 on the event day. Payments on the day are card-only, according to the city.
A free shuttle will connect the stadium with the parade area during the morning. Afternoon service will run between the stadium and Bates Athletic Complex.
Festival brings music and more than 150 vendors
The Annapolis Pride Festival runs from noon until approximately 6 p.m. at Bates Athletic Complex, 935 Spa Road. Organizers say more than 150 vendors are expected alongside food trucks and community organizations.
Singer-songwriter Ryan Cassata is this year’s grand marshal and one of the featured musical performers. Two stages will host entertainment during the festival. A children’s area and a new enclosed sensory tent are also planned.
The event is normally associated with the summer Pride season. Organizers chose October for the 2026 edition, placing the celebration during LGBTQ+ History Month. Last year’s parade was also shifted into October after weather affected the original schedule.
