Former Baltimore County soccer coach Roberto Carlos Huezo Garcia has been arrested following allegations involving several male juveniles. Police say the reported conduct involved boys between 10 and 15 years old, as Baltimore Chronicle notes.
CBS News Baltimore reported the arrest on August 14. The Baltimore County Police Department also released details of its investigation.
What charges does Roberto Carlos Huezo Garcia face?
Garcia, from Reisterstown, faces several criminal counts, according to court documents reviewed by CBS Baltimore. He has not been convicted of these allegations.
The reported charges include:
- 4 counts of sexual solicitation of a minor;
- 3 counts of indecent exposure to a minor;
- 2 counts of displaying obscene material to a minor;
- 1 count of continuous sexual abuse of a minor.
Police separately identified charges involving sexual abuse and sexual solicitation of a minor. Detectives began receiving reports of alleged misconduct in January 2026.
Investigators say the case involved multiple reports rather than a single allegation.
Police investigated reports involving boys aged 10 to 15
The Baltimore County Police Crimes Against Children Unit conducted what authorities described as an extensive investigation. A warrant was issued in June, and Garcia was later taken into custody.

Police say Garcia had coached for several private organizations across multiple jurisdictions. He was suspended after the allegations were reported.
Authorities also believe additional victims or witnesses may not yet have contacted investigators.
Garcia previously coached at Perry Hall High School
Baltimore County Public Schools told CBS Baltimore that Garcia previously worked at Perry Hall High School. He served as a contractual boys’ junior varsity soccer coach from 2017 through 2020.
That school role ended years before the current arrest. Police said Garcia later coached with private organizations in several jurisdictions.
The allegations remain subject to the criminal court process. The filed charges do not by themselves establish guilt.
