The current tariff for electricity will not change until the end of the heating season.
Tariff for electricitywill not be revised until May 1 next year.
This is stated in the response of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko to the request of People's Deputy Alexey Kucherenko.
“The price of electric energy for household consumers according to Resolution No. 632 was approved until April 30, 2025. That is, until the end of the autumn-winter period 2024/2025, the electricity tariff for household consumers will not be revised,” says the document, which the parliamentarian published on Facebook.
Recall that the International Monetary Fund hinted that it is necessary to lift the moratorium on price increases, but so far there are no official documents.
At the same time, the memorandum with the International Monetary Fund was previously updated. It stated that Ukraine will be provided with assistance in the amount of 8 billion euros, but one of the points provides for the need to increase gas and electricity tariffs for the population.
Since June 1, electricity tariffs have increased in Ukraine. Those who use boilers, actively use the hob and other electrical appliances will have to pay the most.
Now the average payment for electricity will be 734.4 UAH instead of the previous 448.8 UAH. This is due to the increase in tariff from 2.64 to 3.32 UAH per 1 kWh.
