During a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities on Tuesday, December 17, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine said that “real negotiations” with Russians about sustainable peace will begin only when the aggressive country has no resources left to conduct military operations.
According to the official, by that time Ukraine must also remain strong, because “only the strong are helped,” the NBN publication reports with reference to Suspilne.
The head of Zelensky's Office recalled that in the fall the head of state presented a plan for our country's victory. In the document, Kyiv recorded its position and outlined real mechanisms for ending hostilities and achieving peace.
The representative of Bankova once again emphasized that the Kremlin is eager for the capitulation of Ukraine and its allies, so if the Russian Federation is not forced to a fair peace, it will not happen. In this case, the enemy will take advantage of the pause, regain its strength and continue the offensive.
It should be noted that during the meeting, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he does not need the “mediation” of the head of the Hungarian government Viktor Orban in relations with Donald Trump.
