In Ukraine, they propose to increase the minimum pension in 2025.
In 2025 in Ukraine it is proposed to increase the minimum pension by 229 hryvnia, reaching 2590 hryvnia. The proposal also includes an increase in the maximum pension by 2.2 thousand hryvnia, which will bring it to the level of 25.9 thousand hryvnia.

According to the updated According to the macro forecast of the Cabinet of Ministers, in Ukraine the average salary next year will exceed 24.3 thousand hryvnia. Taking into account the inflation rate, employee income will increase by 8.1%.
By 2026, the average salary is expected to be almost 28.2 thousand hryvnia, and by 2027 – 32.5 thousand hryvnia.
According to the publication, the forecast was developed taking into account the budget declaration, which provides freezing the minimum wage for three years. However, this decision did not receive support even among representatives of the party that makes up the government.
The head of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Daniil Getmantsev, made a proposal to amend the budget declaration.
If the government plans to freeze the minimum wage at the level of 8 thousand hryvnia for three years, then Getmantsev voiced the following option:
- in 2025 the minimum wage will be raised to 8,780 UAH
- in 2026 – to 9,650 UAH
- in 2027 – to 10,420 UAH
The minimum pension will increase as follows: next year it will reach 2590 UAH, in 2026 it will increase to 2846 UAH, and in 2027 it will increase to 3074 UAH.
Getmantsev explained that taking into account the inflation forecast without increasing social standards, their real value will decrease by more than 30% over the next three years.
