In total, taking into account these payments, 6.4 million Ukrainians have already received 1,000 hryvnias in assistance.
During December 26-27, funds under the “Winter Support” program will be received by 2 million citizens who applied through the “Diya” application from 4 to 11 December. Among them, almost 700 thousand payments for children.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
In general, taking into account these payments, 6.4 million Ukrainians will already receive 1,000 hryvnia benefits, including 1.7 million payments for children.
We remind you that 1,000 hryvnia can be used within three months – December, January and February.
The amount received is not subject to taxation and does not affect the receipt of the subsidy. You can spend 1000 hryvnia on certain goods and services, in particular:
- on paying for utilities,
- on paying for transport (Ukrzaliznytsia tickets),
- on paying for mobile communications and medicines,
- on buying Ukrainian books and other Ukrainian goods,
- on cultural services.
This support can also be used to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through officially registered Ukrainian charitable foundations. They must accept payments in accordance with the rules of payment systems and must have the category of the subject MCC – code 8398. This is the code that records charitable activities.
