Ukraine and Romania signed a cooperation agreement, which provides for the resumption of telecom networks, increasing their sustainability and developing 5G corridors. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov in his telegram channel.

What is known
“We agreed on the first steps – increasing the stability of Ukrainian Internet networks, developing 5G corridors between the borders of Ukraine and Romania, and Ukraine’s participation in financial support programs EU,” he noted.
Romania will also help in the restoration of digital infrastructure damaged due to the war.
Fedorov thanked the Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization of Romania Bogdan-Grui Ivan for his cooperation . “From now on, we will implement joint projects with financial support from the EU,” added the Ukrainian official.
