Ukrainian asylum seekers in the Czech Republic can extend their temporary protection until the end of March 2025. The continuation of temporary protection occurs in two stages. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.

First step . Online registration
You must create an account on the Information Portal for Foreigners. Fill out the form, indicating the necessary information, as well as indicate your current place of residence and confirm it.
If there are children under 15 years of age, their registration is carried out by authorized representatives. Persons over 15 years of age register independently.
The last stage of online registration is choosing the date and time of a visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs department to paste a visa sticker. After this, temporary protection will be automatically extended until September 30, 2024.
Online registration must be completed by March 15, 2024.
Second step. Visit to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
On the date specified during online registration, you must visit the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Please note that you can change the previously selected date in your personal account only for valid reasons.
After visiting the police station and pasting the visa sticker, temporary protection will be extended until March 31, 2025.
You should visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs department before September 30, 2024.
