During the week from January 19 to January 26, the average price for autogas in Ukraine decreased by 0.30 UAH/l, to 27.60 UAH/l. This is evidenced by the monitoring of the A-95 Consulting Group, reports enkorr.
In large networks, the cost of autogas decreased on average by 0.07 UAH/l, in networks of the lower price range – by 0.25 UAH/l.
The lowest gas price – 25.90 UAH/l – was recorded in the Ternopil Green Wave network, which dropped 50 kopecks/l within a week. In addition to Ternopil residents, only Avantage 7 sells autogas below 26 UAH/l.
According to retailers, the demand for gas in retail remains low.
“If compared with the first weeks of January, then sales have become a little better, but compared to December, sales fell by 20%,” they say in one of the networks in the south.
The network operating in the west of the country also noted that sales compared to the beginning has improved.
“But compared to December, we are recording a seasonal decrease in demand by about 10%,” the company added.
Due to low demand and another decline in prices for At auctions, operators believe that retail prices will continue to decline.
“Taking into account the dynamics of changes in wholesale prices for LPG, the cost of gas may decrease by another 1 UAH/l, but in the next week or two it is unlikely to cross the limit of 26 UAH even at discounters,” noted one of the chains.
