Metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in January-April of this year, compared with the same period last year, increased revenues from the export of ferrous metals by 16.56% – to $959 million. This follows from the data of the State Customs Service, reports EP.

Ferrous metals during this period accounted for 7.14% of the total revenues from the export of goods against 6.18% in January-April last year. In April, receipts from the export of ferrous metals amounted to $207 million.
Imports of similar products by Ukraine in January-April of this year increased by 25.8% – to $454 million. In April, products worth $131 million were imported.
Over the four months of 2024, Ukraine also reduced the export of hardware by 8.1% – to $306 million. In April, they were exported by $77 million.
Import of hardware during this period increased by 47.2% – up to $326 million. In April, $92 million worth of these products were imported.
