Annual inflation in Ukraine jumped to 4.8% – State Statistics Service
Consumer Index prices in June 2024 in annual terms accelerated from 3.3% to 4.8%. This is evidenced by State Statistics Service data. Over the past three months, this figure has remained almost unchanged and amounted to 3.2-3.3%. The sharp increase in June is associated with an increase in electricity tariffs by 63.6%.

State-owned PrivatBank was recognized as the most efficient bank in Central and Eastern Europe Europe, according to the leading international magazine The Banker.
Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have bought $5.3 billion in currencies – more than in the entire last year.
The volume of currency purchases by the population in June 2024 exceeded the volume of its sales by $0.97 billion. In particular, in June the population reduced the volume of purchases of cash currency – to $2.08 billion from the year's record $2.24 billion in May. At the same time, sales of cash currency also decreased – from $1.27 billion in May to $1.19 billion in June.
