The mayor of Kiev, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported that the attack on the capital on December 29 became the largest in terms of the number of victims. In this regard, January 1, 2024, was declared a Day of Mourning in Kiev.
He noted that the search and rescue operation in the capital continues around the clock. It is reported that the State Emergency Service managed to save eight people. And today, December 31, the Kiev City Military Administration reported that rescuers found the bodies of two more dead under the rubble.
Thus, the number of victims of the Russian missile attack on the capital on December 29 has increased to 21 people.
