The new constitution should state that North Korea will seek to «occupy, enslave and reclaim» South Korea as part of the North's territory if a new war breaks out on the Korean Peninsula.
The statement of the Supreme People's Assembly says that the two Koreas are now in «acute confrontation» and that it would be a serious mistake on the part of the «North to regard the South as a partner in diplomacy».
«Peaceful Reunification Committee countries, the National Bureau of Economic Cooperation and the Office of International Tourism — the tools that existed for dialogue, negotiation and cooperation between North and South are being abolished», — stated the assembly participants.
