In the Kyiv City State Administration reported that the capital is suffering from heavy rain, so city services are working in an enhanced mode to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to the Kyiv City State Administration.
It is noted that four districts of Kyiv are suffering from flooding on October 6 due to heavy rainfall. The capital's authorities note that, despite all efforts, the rainwater drainage system cannot cope immediately, since it is not designed for such a volume of precipitation.
«Hydroservices of «Kyivavtodor» eliminate flooding at locations in Darnitsky, Obolonsky, Svyatoshinsky and Solomensky districts. But they are on duty in places of possible flooding,” says a statement from the Kyiv City State Administration.
Meanwhile, Kiev residents online are distributing videos of flooded streets, on which cars are almost everywhere windows in the water.
