According to the capital's official, the corresponding decision was made taking into account the further significant cold snap.
“Considering the weather conditions and forecasters’ predictions of a significant drop in temperature, the average daily temperature of which will be below +8°C for three days, we will begin connecting residential buildings to heat from Wednesday, October 30,” — emphasized Klitschko.
However, as Vitali Klitschko noted, for the full deployment of the centralized heating system of Kyiv, which is one of the largest in Europe, according to technology, about seven days are needed.
