Vice President In the United States, Kamala Harris is leading Republican candidate Donald Trump by a small margin.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to The Hill.
However, as the American publication reported The Hill, which cites a forecast from the authoritative company YouGov, does not give grounds to call her a clear favorite in the presidential election.
According to its modeling, Harris is ahead of Trump at the national level by three percentage points and could receive 50% of the vote, while he has 47%. According to these data, Harris could potentially receive 240 electoral votes, while Trump has 218. The situation regarding the remaining 80 electoral votes is uncertain.
It is worth noting that the previous YouGov's October 16 model predicted Harris would win 250 electoral votes, Trump – 219, and another 69 were in question. According to YouGov forecasts, the election result will depend on how Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia ultimately vote.
