Analysts cite the Telegram channel “Dossier Shpiona”, which reported that a sanatorium belonging to the Russian dictator's Office of Affairs, located in Maryino, Kursk Oblast, was destroyed as a result of a Storm Shadow missile strike.
URA-Inform reports this with reference to Global Defense Corp.
According to the channel, 18 Russian servicemen were killed in the strike, and 33 people were injured. Among the dead were many officers from the Southern and Eastern Military Districts.
The death of the first deputy commander of the Leningrad Military District, Lieutenant General Valery Solodchuk, was also reported. In 2014, he commanded the 1st Army Corps of the so-called “DPR” during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
It is noted that 500 North Korean soldiers were also killed in the missile strike. According to Global Defense Corp, three North Korean servicemen were wounded – two male officers and a woman. She was initially described as a medic, but sources suggest she may have been a translator.
In addition, 13 more Russian sappers, including the deputy chief of staff of the 88th Mechanized Brigade, were injured while clearing unexploded ordnance at the site of the strike.
“The presence of such high-ranking personnel during the post-strike cleanup may indicate that the victims were not only officers and one general,” Global Defense Corp. suggests.
Recall that it was previously reported that an interesting find was discovered at the site of the fall of a Russian ballistic missile in the Dnieper (photo).
