In Ukraine, pension payments will be increased for some Ukrainians from May 1.

It is noted that the pension supplement is carried out automatically, so there is no need to contact the Pension Fund. To receive additional payments to your pension from May 1, you need to meet two criteria.
In particular, we are talking about those who have reached the age of 70 years, and the amount of pension payments does not reach 10,340.35 hryvnia.< /p>
From May 1, 2024, the following allowances are provided:
— pensioners aged 70 to 74 years — 300 hryvnia;
— pensioners aged 75 to 79 years — 456 hryvnia;
— pensioners over 80 years old — 570 hryvnia.
It is reported that Ukrainian pensioners will receive payments in the month after the citizen reaches the appropriate age to qualify for them. It is worth noting that the number of pensioners in Ukraine is 10.2 million people, and the average pension has increased from 5,385 to 5,743 UAH.
