Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba noted that first the United States of America must decide on extension of financial assistance to Ukraine.
This information was reported by the Voice of America, URA-Inform reports.
And after that, according to him, further progress will take place regarding the signing of a security agreement.
«In the evening — chairs, in the morning — money… That is, first — money, then — signing of the agreement», — he noted.
The Foreign Minister added that the security agreement contains specifics. Therefore, such an agreement can actually be signed only when the United States knows what resource it is operating.
«These guarantee agreements — they are very specific. The amounts and specific things that the participants in this agreement will work on are spelled out there. And the United States will be able to conclude this agreement when it has a clear understanding of what resource is at its disposal. This is the logic», — Kuleba explained.
The Ukrainian minister stressed that Ukraine has no doubt that such an agreement with the United States will be able to be signed.
