BILD military analyst Julian Röpke suggests that Russia may send its troops, which were withdrawn from Nagorno-Karabakh, to Ukraine.

This information was reported by the above-mentioned publication, reports URA-Inform.

These days, Russia began to withdraw its peacekeeping forces, which have been present in Karabakh since the fall of 2020. This contingent consisted of about 2,000 soldiers, and heavy military equipment was also deployed. All of them are transported from Azerbaijan across the border to Dagestan by rail.

Julian Röpke expressed concerns about Russia’s intentions with this contingent. He warns that it is possible that these troops, including several dozen modern BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, will be sent to Ukraine.

Such actions could cause alarm on the international stage and further exacerbate tensions in the war between Ukraine and Russia.

As previously reported, Xi offered the Russian Federation a special option for ending the war: the source said what the parties are considering.
