Russia's attacks on cities with airstrikes and strategic bombs have caused deep destruction to Ukraine's cultural, historical and religious heritage.
A message published by the UK Ministry of Defense on Twitter and transmitted to URA-Inform notes that 70 years ago the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in Armed Conflict was adopted.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine also reported that with Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 1,987 cultural institutions have been damaged.
